Early Interventionist
Contract Position
📣 NEW HORIZONS INTERVENTION SERVICES, LLC IS HIRING!
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will work with children from birth to age three who are at risk for or have developmental delays or disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized services and support to promote the child's development and enhance their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:
🌟 Conduct assessments to identify developmental delays or disabilities in infants and toddlers.
🌟 Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
🌟 Provide direct intervention services to children through play-based activities, therapeutic exercises, and educational games.
🌟 Collaborate with families to set goals and strategies for supporting their child's development within the context of their daily routines and activities.
🌟 Offer support, education, and resources to families to enhance their understanding of their child's development and promote their active participation in the intervention process.
🌟 Work closely with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals, to coordinate services and ensure holistic care for each child.
🌟 Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, intervention plans, progress notes, and communication with families and other team members.
Minimum Qualifications
👉 Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. A completed degree in another area could be considered with appropriate childcare experience.
👉 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
👉 Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
👉 Compassion, patience, and empathy for children and families facing developmental challenges.
👉 Flexibility to adapt interventions based on the unique needs and preferences of each child and family.
Experience:
* 1 year (Preferred) - Prior early interventionist, teaching and early child development experience preferred or recent & upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training.
License/Certification:
* Driver's License (Required) & Reliable Car
* CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child) (Preferred)
PAY: $25-30 per hour, dependent on skill set
Willingness to travel:
* 50-75% (Preferred)
